FAQ

It’s okay to have questions.
Let’s get some answers.

How often are sessions, and what is the session length?

Sessions are generally once a week for 45-60 minutes. This can vary based on individual client needs and the modalities we use.

Where is your practice located?

My office is located in Brooklyn, NY. I also provide virtual sessions for residents of New York State.

Can I call or text between sessions if necessary?

If it is important for my client to reach me between sessions by phone, I will do my best to return the call as soon as possible. I offer up to ten minutes of phone time between sessions when needed. If more time is needed, a session can be scheduled, or the additional phone time will be charged at regular session rates. Texting is reserved for technical matters such as scheduling and I will respond as soon as possible.

How long will therapy last?

I wish I could tell you that! Unfortunately, there’s no way to tell in advance how long therapy will take. There are so many factors that influence the length of therapy.

Do you only use the modalities listed in the Modalities page?

No. I have training in multiple therapeutic modalities, and we will tailor our work to help you in the best way possible.

Do other people have this difficulty, too? Have you been able to help them?

I’ve seen many people with different struggles in my practice. Keep in mind that no matter what you’re dealing with, there are plenty of people coping with the same exact difficulty. Regardless of your challenge, I’d suggest scheduling a session to ensure we’re a good match and feel confident I can help you in your situation. Of course, I will refer you to another therapist if I feel you’d experience more success with them.

I’m here to help you heal.
